Charlie Tuna (born April 18, 1944 in Kearney, Nebraska; died February 19, 2016 in Tarzana, California) is the stage name of Art Ferguson. He's a radio personality in Los Angeles, California currently working at KRTH-FM. He even received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on January 10, 1990. On July 18, 2008, he was voted into the National Radio Hall of Fame. In addition to his radio work, he announced many game shows. Scrabble was his most popular show ever announced. Tuna now resides in Tarzana, California, and has served as Tarzana’s honorary mayor since 1977. Charlie passed away in his sleep on February 19, 2016 at his home, two months minus one day before his 72nd birthday; he is interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA.
